Achievement 5
One-Day Capsule course on Battery Waste Management & Recycling (as per IEC 62133/IS16047)

Prof. (Dr) Shailesh Mishra conducted the program on August 23, 2025. Understanding battery waste management from generation to recycling, as well as regulatory compliance and environmental impact, was the main goal of the course. It also addressed the creation of sustainable business plans for managing battery waste and offered helpful advice on how to launch a battery waste company profitably with the least amount of capital.

One-Day Capsule course on Green Electronics-Plastic Waste Management & Recycling (IS14534:2023)

Prof. (Dr) Shailesh Mishra conducted the program on September 5, 2025. Understanding the plastic waste management process from generation to recycling, as well as regulatory compliance and environmental impact, was the main focus of the course. Additionally, it focused on creating sustainable business plans for managing plastic waste and offered helpful advice on how to launch a profitable plastic waste company with the least amount of capital.

One Day Capsule Course On Solar Energy and Substainability Immersion as per IS 16221(Part 2):2015

Prof. (Dr) Shailesh Mishra conducted the program on October 11, 2025. Understanding energy requirement analysis, including energy demand, consumption, and project planning, was the main focus of the course. Along with sustainable energy solutions that prioritize energy efficiency and environmental aspects, it also addressed environmental impact and regulatory compliance in line with IS 16221:2015. Best practices for computations, installation, real-world applications, and accessible government assistance were also highlighted during the session.

IETE Sub Centre
Opening of a Sub-Centre at Amity University Campus in Greater Noida

Shri Sunil, President of IETE, inaugurated a new IETE Sub-Centre at Amity University, Greater Noida, on 29 September 2025. The inauguration marked an important step toward strengthening academic–industry collaboration and promoting technical education, research, and innovation among students and faculty. The new Sub-Centre aims to serve as a hub for professional activities, technical workshops, seminars, and skill development programs, encouraging young engineers to engage with emerging technologies and contribute to the nation’s technological growth.

International Conference
Two-Days International conference on “AI-Driven Innovation for industry 4.0 to Society 5.0 (ICADIS 2025)

On October 15–16, 2025, IETE Noida Center and Noida International University (NIU) jointly organized a two-day international conference on "AI-Driven Innovation for Industry 4.0 to Society 5.0 (ICADIS 2025)" at the NIU campus. The conference gave academics, researchers, business professionals, and students a forum to talk about the latest developments and uses of AI in changing industrial systems and forming a society driven by technology. The event promoted knowledge sharing, creativity, and cooperation between academia and business through keynote addresses, technical sessions, and paper presentations.

International Conference
Introductory Lecture to IILM students to become part of ISF Forum. Benefit to the ISF students were also enrollment

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) Noida Centre conducted an Introductory Lecture for IILM University students on 18 November at IILM University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh to encourage participation in the IETE Students’ Forum (ISF). The lecture was delivered by Prof. G. P. Singh, Col. H. K. Trivedi, and Col. P. K. Sharma, highlighting the benefits of ISF membership, including technical exposure, skill development, and industry interaction. The session generated strong student interest in ISF enrollment and academic activities.

International Conference
Cyber Threats and Security mainly for Senior Citizens/Retired Personnels

Mr. Neelabh Rai, a cyber security expert, conducted the program on November 29, 2025. The session's main goal was to raise awareness of cybercrimes and the different security issues that exist in the modern digital world. Participants received instruction on various cyberattacks, network weaknesses, and typical online fraud techniques. Additionally, the course covered practical steps to deal with cybercrime incidents, effective methods to secure financial and physical resources, and preventive measures to avoid cyber threats. The Sudarshan mechanism, which offers instructions on reporting cybercrimes and requesting prompt assistance through the proper channels, was also introduced during the session.

International Conference
IETE Noida Centre: Celebrating 25 Glorious Years of Technology, Innovation, Education, and Excellence on the Silver Jubilee

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Noida Centre celebrated its Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years of excellence in technology, education, and innovation, on 31 January 2026 at the Civil Services Officers’ Institute (CSOI), KG Marg, New Delhi. The grand Ceremony was attended by eminent academicians, scientists, and technical experts, who highlighted the Centre’s significant achievements and reaffirmed its commitment to continued growth and professional excellence.

Achievement 4
Waste to Wealth : Capsule Course on E-Waste Management

Prof. (Dr.) Shailesh Mishra conducted the program on February 21, 2026. The course primarily focused on understanding the complete E-waste management process, from generation and collection to recycling and safe disposal, along with regulatory compliance requirements and environmental impact assessment. It also emphasized the development of sustainable business models for effective E-waste management and provided practical guidance on establishing and operating a profitable E-waste management enterprise with minimal capital investment.

Achievement 4
Gautam Buddha University Hosts Two-Week STTP on AI, ML & Cyber Security, Greater Noida

Gautam Buddha University inaugurated a Two-Week STTP on “Emerging Trends in AI, ML & Cyber Security: From Fundamentals to Frontiers” in online mode from 2–14 February 2026. The program was organized by the School of Information & Communication Technology, Gautam Buddha University, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU-GBU AADC) and the IETE Noida Centre, with participation from over a hundred attendees across India. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rana Pratap Singh, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the importance of AI, ML, and Cyber Security in today’s technology-driven world. The program aims to provide faculty members and researchers with contemporary insights and strengthen research and academic capabilities in emerging technologies. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Raju Pal.

International Conference on ISO 14001 at Bureau of Indian Standards (MOCA) Govt. of India Held on 08 March 2026

On March 8, 2026, Prof. (Dr) Shailesh Mishra, Advisor for Technical and Regulatory Affairs at the IETE Noida Centre, represented the institution at the International Conference on “New Changes in ISO 14001.” Hosted by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, the event featured prominent dignitaries, including Prof. S.K. Sharma (Chairperson, EED 01), Chandan Bahal (Deputy Director General, BIS), and Virendra Singh (Head, Environment and Ecology Division, EED 1). During the deliberations, Dr. Mishra and fellow experts analyzed the newly incorporated updates to ISO 14001, focusing on how these changes strengthen environmental management systems, evolve regulatory frameworks, and align domestic compliance with global standards. The conference served as a vital collaborative platform for policymakers, industry leaders, and academicians to discuss integrating modern ecological policies with technological advancements to drive sustainable industrial growth and long-term environmental governance.

57th IETE Mid Term Symposium at Amity University Greater Noida Campus on 29-30 April 2026

The 57th IETE Mid Term Symposium and 8th International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I-2026) was successfully organized by The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in association with Amity University, Greater Noida, on 29–30 April 2026. The conference was based on the theme “AI for Ubiquitous Connectivity and Sustainable Development” and brought together academicians, researchers, industry professionals, and students from across the country. The event focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, IoT, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and Sustainable Technologies. Distinguished experts highlighted the importance of advanced technologies in building smart, connected, and sustainable systems for the future. The symposium witnessed active participation and served as an important platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and academic collaboration.

Achievement 4
International Training Program on Entrepreneurship Development – Session on E-Waste Management

1. Program Background
As part of India’s commitment to regional capacity building, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, organized an International Training Program on Entrepreneurship Development for Sri Lankan entrepreneurs. The program was sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) Division under India’s development partnership initiatives.
